Aerva's moderation tool is used to approve social media content before it's displayed on your screens.  It's most commonly used when your feed is following a public hashtag, to avoid spam or inappropriate content from being displayed on your signage.  You can choose to use or not use our moderation tool when requesting a social media feed through our form here.

Once you've got your social feed with moderation enabled, you can login to the moderation tool here:

http://moapp.aerva.com/moderator

To login, you'll use the same credentials you use to login to AerWave.  Or if you're already logged in to AerWave, it will take you right to your list of feeds:

To begin, just click the "Moderate" button.  This will open the moderation interface for your feed:

As you can see, social media posts awaiting moderation are displayed in rows.  To moderate, use the buttons on the far right.  The green check will approve a post, the red X will reject a post, and the grey circle icon will block the user that submitted that post.  More specifically, here's what each action does with regards to the social media feed running on your digital signage:

Approve :  This will immediately add the social media post into the queue for display on your signage.  It will not necessarily display instantly, it depends on where in the loop the widget is and how many posts are in the loop total (the latter is configured within the widget parameters).

Reject :  This will remove the post from the "Not Moderated" queue.  It will not display on your signage.

Block :  This will both reject the post and it will block the user that posted it, meaning your feed will no longer collect posts from that user.

That's all you need to do to moderate social media content for your digital signage.  A couple of other features to note:

Filter By Moderation:  Notice the dropdown menu in the top-left.  Here you can select different queues to view.  By default, it shows the "Not Moderated" queue which displays all the posts awaiting moderation.  This is where most of your work will be done, but you can also view other queues such as "Approved" which will show all posts approved thus far, and "Rejected" which will show everything you've rejected (note that you can still approve messages from the Rejected queue, in case you change your mind).

Block:  Here you can manually block a social media user by entering their username in the field, then click Apply.  This is just a method of blocking users without having to wait for a post of theirs to come in.  You can also click "Edit" to view the list of currently blocked users, and remove any if necessary.

Bulk Actions:  Finally, you'll notice the same Approve/Reject/Block actions buttons are available in the top-left.  This set of buttons allows you to perform one of these actions on multiple posts at once, just select them all using the checkboxes on the left side of the interface.
