All Aerva signage devices run our custom OS called Aerva Linux. Aerva Linux is continually updated and improved, and these changes are applied to the player automatically without any action needed on your part. However, every two to three years we may release an entirely new version of Aerva Linux that does require a manual upgrade. You may receive a notice about manually upgrading to the next major release when it becomes available.
